Is it the 1.6 or the 1.9is in your CTI? And how far since you last did it?

Mine is a 1.6, I do an oil change between 3,500 to 5,000 km.

The car actually holds 5.25 quarts of oil, rather large sump (and filter) for a 1.6 liter engine. My Saab 9-5 with the 2.3 turbo engine holds just 4 quarts.

Same here and same here! Mobil 1 for me too. Bit of a qwerk that they take 5L but that's the French for you. Do want a set of your wheels.
